Aims and Scope

International Journal of Sukuk and Waqf Research (IJSWR) is a Double-Blind Peer-Reviewed Refereed International Journal for Sukuk and Waqf Research academics. The initiative is the result of close cooperation between "CRIBFB" and "Sukuk and Waqf Society [Affiliated Societies]". The subject areas include, but are not limited to, the following fields:

  • Sukuk Valuation
  • Sukuk Sharia-Compliant
  • Sukuk Involves Asset Ownership
  • Bond Profitability
  • Trust Certificate
  • Waqf
  • An Islamic endowment of property
  • Trust and charitable or religious
  • Muslim religious or charitable foundation
  • Islamic finance, banking, business, and management
  • Created by an endowed trust fund, etc.

The average time between submission and final decision is 15 days, and the average time between acceptance and publication is 15 days. IJSWR welcomes high-quality original research papers, survey papers, review papers, tutorials, technical notes, and discussion papers. 

Publication Schedule

IJSWR strives to keep a continuous publication schedule so that articles are published online as soon as they are ready and as quickly as possible, as often as a daily publication that has published 1 volume and 1 issue yearly since 2023.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. It permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

  • Original Articles

Original full-length research papers clearly state their objective or hypothesis, the experimental design and methods used, the essential features of any interventions, the main outcome measures, the result from the study, and a section placing the results in the context of published literature.

  • Short Communications

Report results of a pilot study or preliminary findings from a study. The scope of this section is intended to be wide and to encompass methodology and experimental data on subjects of interest to the readers of the Journal.
